Blok Mechanical Industry B.V. is one of the first Dutch suppliers, by Lloyd's Register Nederland BV. certified for the AS 9100 C certificate for the international aviation industry.
With this certificate Blok Mechanical Industry B.V. meets with the highest standard for aircraft industry in Europe and America. Certification at this level has so far achieved only by large companies.
By obtaining the AS 9100 C certification Blok Mechanical industry B.V. obtained multiple orders from the aerospace industry.
Blok Mechanical Industry B.V. worked hard to establish new quality procedures and reinforcing the existing ISO 9001 procedures to meet the given requirements. The AS 9100 C certification covers the ISO 9001 standard, but has stringent requirements.
The measuring room is specifically conditioned to high quality measurement and checking purposes.
It is a climate controlled control room that has various equipment such as a Zeiss 3D measuring machine. This has a measuring accuracy in µ mm. There is also a calibration-ward present. At the QA department, four people are active.
